Today, 922 my birthday

This date, 54 years ago I was born but the day isn't today because I was  born on Saturday morning not Wednesday like today. When I was born, Malaya wasn't yet independent. I lived in colonialised  Malaya for about 11 months before the dawn of Merdeka. However, after more than 53 years living in Merdeka era, I still do not feel like we are really merdeka (free). Are we really Merdeka, Are we Free? I don't know, exactly!
